Faronics Insight User Guide

Using Insight

Supported Environments: Faronics Insight 7.6.3 or newer and webNetwork 6.1 or newer.

Faronics Insight On-demand agents are available for Windows Teacher, Windows Student, Mac

Teacher, and Mac Student. Existing customers of webNetwork Cloud need to upgrade to version

6.1 to take advantage of this new technology.

Faronics Insight On-demand agents run as an application rather than a locally installed service.

Known differences and some limitations exist between the On-demand and locally installed

Faronics Insight agents:

• Windows Users will be prompted to unblock the firewall for Insight Student and Insight

Teacher applications at first run.

• Unable to send Ctrl-Alt-Del while remote controlling.

• Unable to limit USB Drives on Window 7

• Unable to limit printing on Windows 7 and Mac

• Co-browse works on XP but not supported on Windows 7 or Mac

• Keystroke alerts and monitoring is not supported on Mac

• Task Manager\Activity Monitor limiting is not supported
